On July 11, 2025, a practical meeting titled “Islamic Finance: New Opportunities for Business” was held in the city of Karakol.
The event was organized by the Islamic Finance Center (IFC) at Bakai Bank and brought together entrepreneurs who aim to conduct business ethically, transparently, and in accordance with Sharia principles.

The meeting served as a unique platform for sharing experience, discussing Sharia-compliant financial instruments, and receiving practical recommendations on running a business based on Islamic principles.

Speakers:

• Mars Ibraev — Chairman of the Sharia Council of IFC, Bakai Bank OJSC;

• Zamir Rakiev — Member of the Sharia Council of IFC, Bakai Bank OJSC;

• Rinat Gabbasov — Member of the Sharia Council of IFC, Bakai Bank OJSC;

• Aibek Zhangaziev — Founder of the Bellagio chain, shared his business experience.

The goal of the event was to demonstrate that Islamic finance is not only compliant with religious principles but also an effective tool for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Kyrgyzstan.

Participants gained new knowledge, built connections, and left inspired.

The IFC at Bakai Bank plans to hold similar events in other regions of the country.
